How it started

Hubert stepped into electrical work without expecting it to become his life. What started as dipping his toes in quickly revealed something: he loved the work. The precision, the problem-solving, the moment a room lights up because you got it right. He pursued his license and built real skills, the kind that come from paying attention and caring about outcomes.

When we decided to build HD Electric Design, we weren't chasing growth for its own sake. We wanted to do electrical work the way we'd want it done in our own home. Honest conversations about what needs to happen. No shortcuts. No upselling. Just dependable, high-quality service backed by real experience and strong relationships with the people we work for.

Over 15 years, we've served Chicagoland through everything: panel upgrades, safety inspections, new installations, EV charger setups, generator work, and smart home systems. We've built a family business because that matters to us—both in how we operate internally and in how we show up for you.
